In April 2005 we introduced our sustainable landscape management service, DeSantisEarthSense. This service works to reduce and eliminate the use of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers, reduce water usage in the landscape, and reduce pollutants and emissions into the air and water. As we researched sustainable alternatives for fueling our equipment and vehicles SeQuential BIODIESEL became the obvious choice. The conversion of our entire diesel fleet, including mowers and tractors, has been virtually seamless. In addition, the staff at SeQuential has been very helpful in answering any questions and getting us information. Thanks SeQuential for helping us to distinguish ourselves in the marketplace while doing our part to save the planet!
We have had phone calls from people driving by our trucks who call to say thank you for using BIODIESEL. My employees appreciate not having to breathe the noxious fumes of petroleum diesel and with some clients the fact that we use BIODIESEL was a major factor in their decision to use our services.
One of the objectives of our mission statement is to create and maintain environments of lasting beauty. We feel that by using biodiesel we are helping to meet this objective if we look at environments from a big picture perspective. In addition, it provides a unique value proposition for our company in a crowded landscape marketplace.
