Introducing a new kind of Fueling experience::
SeQuential-Pacific Biodiesel LLC is a joint venture between SeQuential Biofuels (Portland and Eugene, OR), and Pacific Biodiesel (Maui, Hawaii). Launched in 2004, it is credited with being the
first Commercial Biodiesel Production Facility in Oregon and only the second Commercial
Biodiesel Production Facility in the Northwest. The first gallons of SeQuential-Pacific
Biodiesel were produced in August of 2005. Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski and Salem City
Mayor Janet Taylor were on hand at the grand opening of the production facility and helped
initiate the first production process by pressing the start button. The capacity of the
Salem facility is approximately 1 million gallons per year. The feed stock is primarily based on used cooking oil
with the hope of transitioning to more regionally produced oil seed crops like Canola and Rape seed.
